Title: Spectate option in Multiplayer

I found it really fun when me and my friends ran out of lives to just watch him play the game, it's better then having to jump through the hoops of setting up a livestream, is it possible that this might be put into the game?

If you both opt into the Steam beta updates, you could always try the Broadcasting feature, which seems designed for this sort of thing. You just have to go to their name on the friends list and click 'Watch Game'.
