Title: Custom traps?

Id like to make a custom trap were its basically a blade comes out of the wall and goes to a target direction then goes back into the wall and it repeats

is this possible? because i was thinking maybe not because you cant have area damage follow a moving object, if not i guess theres a suggestion for a trap in the future  ::)

You could fake it with a projectile shooter making a blade projectile and time the shooters would be one way, cant remember if you can set it to pierce and not break, its been a while since I looked.

Yea, you can make a projectile, then when it reaches it's destination, you start another one from that direction.

Make sure the projectile is penetrating, so it goes through enemies and players
