Technical Support / Game crashes while starting up

I really want to play this game so I bought it on Steam and it had problems. Tried fixing it on my own. Saw someone say GOG version worked for him. So I bought it on GOG. Same problem.
I tried putting the openal.dll file in the folder already and many other fixes suggested in another posts. I checked my graphics card and it says it supports opengl 1.4.
I am trying to run it on an older laptop. It meets the recomended system requirements (except for the opengl which it just meets minimum). I attached speccy snapshot and also game.log is posted here:
