Yup, 1-3 or whatever bind-able you want for the spells and right click, and cast that spell.

Hammerwatch Discussion / First Impressions of Hammer Watch

Found and immediately bought this game today after reading some reviews. First of all Fun game, fairly unforgiving on getting hit playing a wizard my first try. A good thing, having to pay attention. It was fun.

Though I do have a two criticisms. No mouse aiming, really? Wish they mentioned that in the review, probably would have not bought the four pack to play with friends. Who makes a game without the near mandatory computer input device? Controller? *looks around* Nope don't have one, nor do I think this game would be improved by playing it on one. Even if I could only aim in the eight directions with the mouse the game control would be vastly improved (though no reason why it should be that way). I know not everyone has a mouse with 4 buttons but you have two fingers free on the wasd that you can use. Using the mouse frees up the unnecessary strafe (space) key.

I stopped playing after the first death because my right hand fingers hurt and I was irritated by the controls. (more irritated than anything)

Second, no confirmation on buying. I clicked on the upgrades not knowing they instantly bought them. Suddenly I had 3 upgrades, WOOPS! Funny though I could use my mouse to navigate the upgrade window, see first disappointment. Though this isn't such a problem since I will not do THAT again.

Constructive criticism away!

(I'd love to be told 'no idiot you missed the mouse option') Please!
