Technical Support / game crashes in the middle of the game

ive got a problem with my game. i play off of steam. im sitting here playing the sun temple add on and within an hour of playing the game crashes. can anybody help me on this? i play on a mac. my cousin had gotten me the game. everything is up to date but i dont know whats wrong
