Editor Discussion / Special Pillar Boss
« on: September 15, 2013, 06:49:37 AM »
So I'm trying to figure out how to make doodads/theme_a/a_special_pillar_boss start out as down and when you push the button it will go up and wait a bit and then go down again.

It doesn't seem like the changedoodadstate effect them.

Hammerwatch Discussion / Different Board Software!
« on: September 13, 2013, 05:35:32 AM »
So I've been trying to get Myran to use phpbb3 instead because it is a whole lot better than our current one. We can even convert the current data we have to it as well

http://www.phpbb.com/

Converter: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=13219422#p13219422

I shouldn't take any longer then 30 mins at the most.

If I could get a current copy of the database I would do it myself and just give you files and you would only have to change the mysql information in the files and upload the file.

So anyone else would like a better forum software?

Hammerwatch Discussion / HTML5?
« on: September 04, 2013, 10:19:18 PM »
Any thoughts about doing an HTML5 version? You should think about it even if it's for the demo only. HTML5 is really becoming the web standards and I know this type of game could run it.

Of course easier said then done.

Hammerwatch Discussion / No forum link on the main page
« on: September 03, 2013, 11:21:53 PM »
So you guys don't have anything linking to these forums on the main page. I've looked on steam as well as tigsource and no easy place pointing here that I could tell. Do you want most of the interaction on steam's forums because those are normally people just complaining or those that shouldn't even touch a computer with a ten foot pole.

Hammerwatch Discussion / This forums captcha is terrible
« on: August 31, 2013, 05:29:47 AM »
You should really remove this one

I've never even heard that saying so I had to google it. I run my own forums with captcha and I can tell you that you are making it so many can't join because they are not smart enough to think out side the box.
