Bug Reports / Strafing not possible with Gamepad on Linux

There is some kind of HammerWatch specific issue with the analog triggers on various game controllers running under Linux Mint and Ubuntu. This makes it impossible to strafe using the triggers. I've used the gamepads with other games and the various buttons, triggers, dpad and analog sticks work correctly.
