i had this probelm recently, i am unsure why but simply creating a new image file no longer over rites default assets, i also had to duplicate the xmls and tweak those in order tog et them to work

when build these kinds of doors i prefer to use the hide object and toggle physics scripts to turn them on and off. it does not make a huge difference, just another way to create it.

i think the generator is just out of date, it hasn't been updated since the initial release of hammer-watch quite some time ago now

I have the same problem its taken me months to get my first few areas of my map together with completely custom resources, and it amounts to 10-15 minutes of game play.

it takes so much time to produce a good quality campaign.

there is already a cleric class in the works, the summoner could be interesting if done correctly but i do not think the game supports mob types on the player side, it would probably require a better AI than the one that is in place.

the problem with persistence is the map editor..  theres nothing to stop a player creating a map with a stack of 70,000 gold on it and a shop of everything then they can max out all their skills

i would love to see some pvp and team pvp settings in the map editor tough so we can create our own pvp mini games and track victorys.

there are company's out there that print custom images onto large canvas..  i am almost tempted to get one of these printed to hang on my flat..

the game automatically saves when ever you use a check point or go through a door to a new floor.     you can load the saves up and other players can rejoin to carry on where you left off.

there's no HUD element or way of checking how many planks you have in game the best method is probably to count them as you collect them.
