Hello again :P
I've been lurking on this thread:D
and you would assume the enemy AI work on a grid system.
and I have a decent question.
would the enemy AI have any trouble if wall wernt the normal straight design?
(sorry for no picture, i have no way to share one, other than through steam but that would be a spoiler of the very closed pre pre alpha of my current map):D

EDIT: ~shiftyBOT(i used the wrong account name, :P
(also does anyone mind if i do a text signiture?)

(late reply thingeh)

thanks for stting up a IRC channel :P
I'm going to try and stay connected and active on it whenever I can :P

will you keep updating the hammersprite version you put there for linux users?
(sorry for the late response)
and I was directing my question at Hipshot :P

35
I put it in a custom folder I made in my home folder, try to run it.
Permission denied.
...what the heck is going on here?
(this was the second link as I was unable to get the first to work)
does it explicitly need to my in my hammerwatch/editor folder?
and will it even run with the linux file paths?

oh also as a side note.
how exactly does the hammerwatch engine work?
would you mind if I decompiled it and took a look inside?

I agree to that idea :P
I lurked before, back when this game first hit the public, I was pushed to buy the game because of the modding!
yes the game may have a campaign etc but its main content is modding :P
if there was some way we could lure those people out and get them to put up content then more people might buy this game as more user generated content is created. :P

Can't wait for PvP :)
I would be glad to churn out many arena maps etc:P
but we should have the option for more gamemodes!
like CTF, TDM, a control point based mode, and a destroy the enemy team's magical crystal to win game mode :P

Increasing the amount of content on the workshop would  most likely help get a bigger community, and getting more modders /  map makers interested in the game:P

I'm currently working on a custom campaign but its very far from done :/

Resources / one question!
« on: July 08, 2014, 10:35:45 PM »

is there any place I could download the resources from?
(I want them so I can base my custom things off them)
EDIT:
