Freezes when I Quit!!

The game works fine and is very fun, but when I exit the level, and try to quit the game, my computer freezes. I have to shut my computer off via the power button to get things back working. I have macbook pro from a few years ago. Any possible fixes?

This also happens to me when i quit. My whole pc just crashes, but i use Windows 7. Also, i do not think it is the games fault, as i am having problems with my pc anyway, but i am not sure about you.
