Steam version won't launch but the GOG version launches fine.

I just bought the game about an hour ago and it refuses to boot.

I have reinstalled all redistributables, updated to the latest stable video driver, verified my game cache and put the openAL plugin in the hammerwatch folder.

I copied over the config.xml over to the steam version and it still didn't launch. It also appears that the steam version will not create it's own config.xml, at least not in the install folder.

I'll paste my game.log from hammer watch and attach my dxdiag.
