Checking the difficulty of saved game

I would like to check if the saved game is on medium or hard difficulty but I can't find that information at all...   

any clues??

well I found out using this editor: http://steamcommunity.com/app/239070/discussions/0/648816742499208285/

I've converted the save file (.hws) to a xml file and changed the value from 1 to 2 on the following node:



I assumed that 0 was easy mode, 1 normal and 2 hard, and that's it, bingo! worked like a charm
