Game is Still crashing before it even starts

This is still the case and has been since the expansion released uninstalling, re-installing, so far no progress has been made.

You seem to have resources from an older version of the game being loaded in to a new version. This could be your assets.bin that could be corrupted or not updated, or maybe you previously extracted it in to an assets folder? In that case you should probably delete the folder.

it could either be what is posted above, or your assets.bin file in the hammerwatch directory is corrupted, i would suggest if this issue hasnt been resolved to delete the assets.bin file as well as any folder named assets in the hammerwatch directory, once done use steam to verify the game files and it will redownload the assets.bin. try launching the game afterwords and post the log if there are any more errors
