Game won't start on Surface Pro.

Doesn't show up in Task Manager. Nothing. Tried running it directly from the exe, and tried the config.xml fix, neither worked.
I turned on loggin and this is all I get:

WorkingDirectory set to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hammerwatch

Initializing game

It seems I never get past initialization. Anyone have the same problem or a fix?

Me as well, am using surface pro, x86 btw, installer fails from steam
