Please do not post your issues in this thread!

Q: How should I post a thread about my issue?
     1. If you are getting an error or something is not loading please post the error.txt which is in the hammerwatch dir.
     2. Please give us the specs of your computer (OS, Video Card, Ram, Etc..) If you are running windows please download Speccy and run it. More infomation below about it.
     3. If you have pictures of the issue that helps too

Q: My game crashes on start up?
     1. Update your video driver by going to the manufacturer's website
     2. Update to the latest .net framework 4.0 4.5
     3. Update Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package x84 x64
     4. Try putting this DLL in the game's folder

Q: The screen has Blocky Graphics image
     1. Update your video driver by going to the manufacturer's website
     2. Update to the latest .net framework 4.0 4.5
     3. Update Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package x84 x64
     4. Run windows updater
     5. Try turning on hardware acceleration in your graphic card's settings

Q: The editor say Failed to load level image
     Make sure your files are in the same folder as the editor and have the correct folder and file structure. Check how do I prepare my first level after using the editor below.

Q: Why can't I see anyone on multiplayer?
     Make sure hammerwatch is not being blocked by your firewall and open port 9995 (udp & tcp)

Q: Why am I having issues running on linux?
     Make sure your install mono-complete package

How to download and run speccy

Download: http://www.filehippo.com/download_speccy/
(Click on the download link in the top right corner)


1. Install Speccy
2. Open Speecy and let it finish Analyzing
3. Click on File then click on Publish Snapshot
4. Click yes if it asks you about publishing the snapshot
5. Copy url and post it in your thread

It will look like this
