Help with OS X

I got the game on Steam and downloaded and installed the Mono Framework. When I try to launch the game, Mono runs but quickly stops responding.

I  uninstalled everything and tried using the latest Mono install from their site but I get the same results.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

I'm using a MacBook Pro 7,1 and running the latest version of the OS, 10.9.

I have this same problem on 10.9. I emailed support about it and never got a response. I would really like to play Hammerwatch.

Does the game generate a crash.txt file?
