Launch issue

Recently bought the game though steam. Crashes on start up each launch.

EDIT: I don't think this is caused by the resource errors.

ct_oal is creative technologies open audio library. So this appears to be a problem with the openAL dll. I tried running the openAL in the _CommonRedist folder it did nothing to help this issue. However I already had openAL installed and I am using a creative sound card. If I had a newer version of openAL installed and the one from this game did not install because of that then there may be a problem if the newer one won't work for this game. I have to check the version I have installed.

EDIT2: Looks like openAL has been the same since like 2010 and I already had 2.0.7.0 installed. This is the same version that comes with this game so for now there is no way for me to further troubleshoot why the game crashes openAL at launch.

Additionally I tried launching the game and it just hanged up I cannot end the process and now must restart my computer to get rid of it.

is there no solution to this? jesus this game is fucked up
