Hello,
  After playing with the editor for a couple days, and knowledge of blender I thought I'd take some time aside from my other projects I work on and work on something fun for HammerWatch, A Space-Station campaign.

What I plan on doing is creating a whole set of themes to portray the feeling of a space-station, while giving the same feel and experience HammerWatch does with dungeons. This will be a really fun project.

Here is a screenshot(s) of what I currently have modeled:

I'll also look into open sourcing these themes when i get things more completed. :)

nice genre! maybe not suitable for the medieval times, but a big potential for a sci-fi mod.
it looks overly awesome.  :o

No hard feelings! I know this game has an extremely medieval feel to it.

I'm really going to enjoy this project because the editing abilities for this game are so dynamic (this means the developers did a really good job on this game) that I will enjoy this as a challenge to see how much i can really do with their tools.

i think you need to tweak the styling a bit, even if you create an entire theme of doodads in this style it doesn't look like hammer watch the edges and details are 'blurry' and need to be  a little bit sharper.

hammer-watch uses solid colours to hide the edges of walls outside of a level, but if your careful and make some 'outside' walls you could use parallax's to add space to the background

re-texturing the player sprites will also add to the feel, you could replace the rangers arrows with bullets,  make the wizard into a flame thrower etc.

Thanks, but this will be a custom map. I will remake a topic once a map is completed.

yes the custom map thread is purely  for sharing you maps or beta maps, we don't want it to get messy otherwise people wont be able to find maps without shifting through other posts types of posts.
