HTML5?
« on: September 04, 2013, 10:19:18 PM »
Any thoughts about doing an HTML5 version? You should think about it even if it's for the demo only. HTML5 is really becoming the web standards and I know this type of game could run it.

Of course easier said then done.

Obligatory: Great game! Now can you just completely rework it from the ground up? :P

lol yes slave over to remake the game. <.< >.>

it's not a total rework of the game of course but it would involve doing some rework. I was just planting a seed for later about thinking at least making an demo because people are lazy and most modern browsers support HTML5. It would allow them to try the game before downloading/buying it.

Not saying this is realistic, but:
Emscripten
Quote
Emscripten is an LLVM to JavaScript compiler. It takes LLVM bitcode (which can be generated from C/C++ using Clang, or any other language that can be converted into LLVM bitcode) and compiles that into JavaScript, which can be run on the web (or anywhere else JavaScript can run).
