Hi,

Since the last patch, I get a lot of BSOD while playing Hammerwatch (~after 15-30min, sometimes < 1min).
I tried to play some Diablo III, Battlefield 4, and Planetary Annihilation too, without any problem (~2-3H each, without a single crash).

I had a similar problem with Path of Exile some times ago, and it was related to the Creative X-fi soundcard. At the time, the developpers had to release a fix/patch/hack/whatever to make it work again.

Anyone here has the same problem?

You can try downloading this OpenAL software driver and putting it in your Hammerwatch directory: http://hammerwatch.com/OpenAL32.dll

I've found the same solution for another problem related to the sound. (I've also uninstalled OpenAL.)

And... well.. I had not encountered a single BSOD this weekend. I hope the problem is fixed :)
