Multiplayer stopped working overnight

My friend and I got the game and connected successfully ( me hosting). We finished the first floor and saved. Now neither of us can connect to the other or to games while browsing. First attempt game crashes, further attempts it says joining....

Port is open on router and firewall, I have issues joining other games so it's not a problem on my side specifically. Both my friend and I can join certain online games but not others

Does anyone have any suggestions? Are more logs needed? Tracert?
