Come On Guys... I Really Want To Play This.

I bought your game, I even tried to play it. But you're making it very hard for me to invest in your future projects if I can't even connect to my brother upstairs, or to anyone for that matter. This is an issue that should really be addressed.

Not to whine, but it's unGodly hard to play a game that you only bought for the sole purpose of playing with someone, if you can't play with them.

Network issues are difficult issues, cause there could be so many other things - are you sure it's an issue with our game?
Did you open your ports?

If you're on a LAN there shouldn't be any issue with firewalls or routers, just use your local IP address?

I had to do this to play with my buddy 5 feet away:
Since you are both on the same network, there is no need to forward ports, just need to enter the host's internal IP address.  This IP address usually like 192.168.2.8 depending on the router (can do cmd "ipconfig /all" to find it, do not use the one listed in game).  This ip different than your external IP which is found at http://www.ipchicken.com/.

If you wanted someone outside of your network to join, would need the ports forwarded and to know your external IP.

Hope it helps.
