No sound on linux x86-64
« on: November 16, 2015, 09:25:02 PM »
I'm running debian jessie x86-64, and have a fully functioning openal installation, including 32 bit openal drivers, but still no sound. No error boxes, and no errors in the game's logfile. In fact, the logfile implies that the sound engine started without issue. I have already added 'drivers = alsa, pulse' to my openal conf file.

Any ideas?

Ah sorry. What version of the game are you running, 1.31? My guess is that it selects the wrong audio device as default. I'm not that well versed in audio on Linux, but is your first device (nr 0) the one it should pick?
