Curse you .hmw file!
« on: March 16, 2017, 08:44:48 AM »
So I am tying to use the editor to play an actual version of my Iron kingdoms group (basically d&d) but to do this it needs to support multiple people which the editor doesn't allow. my idea was to turn it into a hmw file and put it up on the steam workshop so I could both learn how to fix this problem and learn how to put hammerwatch maps on the workshop aswell. I have looked in so many places and have been for the last week trying to figure out why the conversion wasn't working. If it helps here is the full error code I got back when trying to use the file presser:

Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hammerwatch\editor\Mothbell\info.xml'.
   at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy, Boolean useLongPath, Boolean checkHost)
at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy)
   at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode)
   at ARPGLevelPacker.Program.LoadLevelInfo(String path)
   at ARPGLevelPacker.Program.Main(String[] args)

If you have any idea on how to fix this problem then message me on steam. my username is roarguy45

Edit: i have now spent literal days on this problem and cannot figure out for the life of me the problem, I have searched through the forum multiple times and have yet to be able to make it work. I am posting the full file, feel free to laugh at the whole thing but i really need some help.
