[Mac] Hang on Quit + Xbox controller support

The game hangs on exit and requires me to force quit.

Also the game does not seem to accept Xbox controller input. (Other games do).

I should mention that I'm playing the steam version of the game.

Do you have the controller on before the game starts?  I'm on PC, using the steam version and if I turn on the xbox controller after the game starts, it doesn't recieve the input.  If I start it before the game starts it works fine.

I tried turning the controller on before starting the game, but no luck. =(
